Rescue workers used metal cutters to retrieve the victims' bodies from the car
Khor Fakkan - Arab today

Three young Emiratis were killed on Friday morning in a horrific accident in Khor Fakkan following rain, Sharjah Police said.

The speeding car carrying three Emirati youungsters — two of them twin brothers — crashed into a lamp post in Al Haray Road in Khor Fakkan.

The ages of the victims are between 15 and 20, the police said

Shrajah Police operation room received a call at 10.30am alerting about the accident.

Police patrols, paramedics and rescue teams were dispatched to the scene of the accident. Rescuers used a metal cutting tool to pull out the bodies of the victims from the mangled car wreckage. The Emirati  youths were announced dead at the scene of the accident, despite efforts to save their lives

Initial investigations revealed that the accident occurred due to high-speed driving on a wet road, which led the vehicle to veer off the road and crash into a lamp post.

Sharjah Police urged all motorists to be cautious and not to speed while driving, especially during rain
