A traffic accident killed nine people in east China's Shandong Province early Sunday morning, local authorities said.
The accident happened at 6 a.m. when a heavy semi-trailer loaded with aggregates collided with a three-wheeled motor vehicle on a crossroad in Guangrao County, Dongying City, killing nine people.
An investigation is underway.
