Bus-truck collision kills 8 in north China

Eight people died and 32 others were injured after a bus and a truck collided Saturday evening in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, local authorities said.
The accident occurred at 8:07 p.m. in Yakeshi City, administered by Hulunbuir City, said a statement issued by the government of Hulunbuir.
The truck was trying to avoid a horse that dashed onto the road when the collision happened, the statement said.
Further investigation of the accident is under way.
