Director Abdul Aziz Hashad: Shahin crew not attacked

Director Abdul Aziz Hashad  has announced that the crew of the show"el-Sakr Shahin" (Shahin, the Falcon)returned last Wednesday from an outdoor shoot in Alexandria, which was attended by most of its cast including Tim Hassan, Rania Farid Shawki, Ahmed Zahir, Ahmed Khalil, Ahmed Rateb, Tariq Abdul-Aziz, Hossam Shaaban, Mahmoud Gharib, Sherry Adel and Zizi Badrawi. Hashad stated: “The people in Alexandria welcomed the crew with great hospitality and helped in shooting the outdoor scenes easily and in some areas, where we spent the whole day, they had asked to participate in some scenes as extras. I welcomed the idea and the crew liked it as well; for example, snack-vendors in the castle and passers-by on the streets reflect a sense of reality which the audience will feel when watching the show, because the people were acting spontaneously and naturally. This obviously contradicts rumours of the crew being attacked by thugs in the Qitbaa castle.”
