Peninsula Shield Forces to carry out training session

Joint Peninsula Shield Forces deployed in the kingdom according to joint defence treaties signed between GCC states will tomorrow Tuesday, June 21, carry out a mobilization training session, the General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) announced today. The session, involving all command centres of the Peninsula Shield troops, is in line with those forces' continuous training programmes aiming to enhance the competencies of commanders and officers and upgrade their military preparedness so as to be able to safeguard the GCC region's security and stability and thwart any threats targeting it.
