Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas hailed Bahrain’s principled stance in support of his people’s cause.
In a statement to Bahrain News Agency (BNA), he lauded deep-rooted relations binding the Kingdom of Bahrain and Palestine.
The Palestinian leader was speaking as he visited the National Charter Monument, accompanied by Foreign Minister Riyadh Al-Malki, Head of the Mission of Honour, Information Minister Ali bin Mohammed Al-Romaihi, senior Palestinian officials, ambassadors taking part in the diplomats’ conference.
President Abbas and the other officials and diplomats were received at the National Action Charter Monument by Education Minister Dr. Majid bin Ali Al-Nuaimi,
President Abbas expressed delight at visiting the Kingdom of Bahrain, paying tribute to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa for supporting the Palestinian Cause.
He extended thanks to HM the King for hosting the conference of the Palestinian ambassadors abroad, hailing deep-rooted historic relations.
