Alexandria was hit by light rains early Wednesday but ship traffic continued normally at Alexandria and Dekhila ports without any disruption, said spokesman for Alexandria Port Authority Reda Ghandour.
Loading and unloading of commodities were also regular at the two harbors.
Vacuum trucks were recalled to pump out water to ensure smooth traffic.
