Alexandria beefs up security ahead of June 30

Alexandria security directorate on Thursday beefed up security measures to secure celebrations marking June 30 revolution anniversary.
Security forces intensified their presence in squares and around vital facilities as well as mosques and churches to be able to face any probable illegal attempts.
Security chief Moustafa el Nemr gave directives to all security forces, including rapid deployment forces, to be decisive in dealing with any illegal attempt.
The number of surveillance cameras were increased all over the city to monitor security on streets.
Sappers along with civil protection forces were put on alert to make sure they deal with any suspected bodies immediately.
