Lebanese army prepares for the last stage
Cairo - Egypt Today

The Lebanese army said that its units targeted with heavy artillery and warplanes the remnants of the hideouts of terrorist group Daesh in the villages of Ras Balabek and Qa'a areas on the northern border with Syria.
In a statement, it said the engineering units have been clearing the liberated areas from mines, explosive charges and suspicious objects.
The Lebanese army recaptured on Sunday a third of an enclave held by Daesh near the north-eastern border with Syria.
Troops launched an offensive near the town of Ras Baalbek on Saturday. The BBC quoted the army as saying there are about 600 militants in the mountainous area, which Daesh has held since 2014 and is the group's last stronghold in the country.
About 20 militants have been killed in the latest operation and 10 soldiers have been injured, military said.
