Jordan welcomes success of Bahrain elections

Jordan welcomed the successful parliamentary and municipal elections held in Bahrain on Saturday.
Minister of State for Media Affairs, Government Spokesperson, Jumana Ghunaimat, congratulated the government and the people of Bahrain on the success of the democratic process, which achieved the highest voter turnout in the history of elections in the Gulf country.
Ghunaimat said the popular participation in the elections marks an important political stage in the future of Bahrain, expressing hope for further progress and prosperity for the Kingdom of Bahrain and its brotherly people.
