Minister Magdy al Agati
Cairo - Arab Today

Minister of Legal and Parliamentarian Affairs Magdy al Agati on Monday pledged to place electronic gates at all churches' entrances.

Commenting on a request by Speaker of the House of Representatives Ali Abdel Aal in this regard, the minister said the government pledged to take the measures before the celebrations of the New Year's Eve.

A parliamentary session was held earlier in the day following the terrorist blast that targeted Boutroseya (St Peter and St Paul) Church in Abbasiya Sunday, leaving at least 25 people dead and 49 others injured.
