Agati: government performs its duty toward martyrs' families

Minister of Legal and Parliamentarian Affairs Magdy al Agati said on Sunday that the government performs its duty toward martyrs' families and offers them special pensions until parliament issues a comprehensive legislation about the issue.

During a general session, al Agati said "The government will not leave martyrs' families without care and will perform its duties in light of its capabilities.

He pointed out to the cabinet decision, issued on Saturday, to offer special pensions for martyrs families working for electricity ministry.

Agati was responding to MP Bahaa Abou Shaka comments about issuing a law to honor persons wounded in security operations under the article 16 of the constitution.
