
The First Vice-President and National Prime Minister, General, Bakri Hassan Saleh received, Wednesday, written message from his Egyptian Opposite Number, dealing with the bilateral relations between the two countries .
The message was delivered to General, Saleh by the Egyptian Ambassador to Khartoum, Osama Shaltout who said in press statements that he briefed the National Prime Minister on the Political Consultation Committee between the two countries which will hold a meeting next, April , between the Foreign Ministers of Sudan and Egypt.
The Egyptian diplomat said the meeting the expected visit of the Egyptian Agriculture Minister leading high level investment delegation in the context of President Al-Basher's Initiative concerning Arab Food Security .
He said the Egyptian Prime Minister has congratulated General Saleh on assuming office as the National Prime Minister, inviting him to visit Egypt in suitable time.
The State Minister, at the Foreign Ministry, Kamal Ismail said the meeting also reviewed the developments in the strategic relations linking the two countries, referring that General, Saleh has accepted the invitation of his Egyptian counterpart in a date to be fixed later on by the official channels .
