Defence min.: Armed Forces have strong will to defend Egypt

Minister of Defense and Military Production Sedqi Sobhi asserted that the Armed Forces have a strong will to defend Egypt and protect its lands against evil and terrorist powers.

In a speech given by Maj. Gen. Saeed Mohamed Abbas on behalf of Sobhi, the minister reiterated that this strong will cannot be sapped, noting that the Armed Forces will stand up to those attempting to undermine the state security.

These remarks were made on the sidelines of a ceremony held Saturday to mark the birthday of Prophet Muhammad.

The minister, meanwhile, underscored the importance of coming together, working hard and upholding the interests of the country.
