Arab Parliament reaffirms solidarity with Bahrain

Dr. Mishal bin Fahem Al-Salmi, Arab Parliament Speaker, has reiterated Arab nations' unwavering stance in solidarity with the Kingdom of Bahrain in its efforts in the fight against terrorism.

Al-Salmi said, "The cowardly attack on the Interior Ministry's reform and rehabilitation centre, leading to the escape of several convicted terrorists and causing the death of a security officer, would not discourage the Bahraini people and their brave security forces in the fight against terrorism."

The Arab Parliament Speaker affirmed his trust in the Bahraini security and judicial authorities and their capability to arrest the perpetrators of this terrorist attack, going on to praise the efforts of Bahrain's security and law enforcement agencies in "maintaining the public security and safeguarding the Kingdom's sovereignty to continue the nation's democratic, parliamentary and renaissance process in the interest of the Bahraini people."
