Israeli forces today fired teargas canisters at students outside Al-Quds University campus in the town of Abu Dis, east of occupied East Jerusalem, causing multiple suffocation cases.
The Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) quoted eyewitnesses who said that clashes had erupted between Israeli forces and students when Israeli army patrols provoked them.
The forces fired teargas canisters at the students. Many students suffered suffocation but none was arrested, WAFA reported.
