His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa today received his Thai counterpart General Prayut Chan-o-cha, along with the accompanying delegation, on his arrival in Bahrain.
The Thai Premier is on an official visit at the invitation of HRH the Premier to hold talks on consolidating bilateral relations binding the two friendly countries in all friends. The Deputies, ministers and Thai minister to Bahrain also welcomed the Thai Prime Minister. 
HRH the Premier reviewed solid relations with his Thai countrerpart, stressing the importance of his visit in strengthening cooperation on all levels. He reiterated the mutual keenness of both countries' leaders on strengthening economic, trade and investment cooperation towards serving common interests. 
Thai Premier General Prayut Chan-o-cha expressed delight at visiting the Kingdom of Bahrain, hailing strong bilateral relations which are based on mutual respect. He expressed thanks and appreciation to HRH the Premier, Bahraini leadership and people for the warm welcome and genuine hospitality, which reflects deep-rooted ties. 
He reiterated his country's keenness on expanding joint cooperation on all levels, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people further progress and stability. The convoy of HRH the Premier and his counterpart then headed to the Thai Premier's residence. A mission of honour headed by Deputy Premier Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa was set up to accompany the Thai Premier.
