
The Minister of Foreign Affairs Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa attended the opening of the 53rd Edition of the Munich Security Conference (MSC) today in Munich, Republic of Germany, with the participation of the German chancellor Angela Merkel, US Vice President Mike Pence, a number of Heads of States and Governments, and dozens of Foreign and Defense Ministers.
This year's conference agenda focuses on the latest security and political developments on the international arena and their various repercussions on international peace and security, as well as mechanisms of resolution of conflicts that pose threats to global stability including Syrian conflict, fight against terrorism and other conflicts that threaten the international community
The Munich Security Conference (MSC) has become a key annual gathering for the international "strategic community. It brings together high level executives, diplomats, and military personnel to discuss and exchange ideas on key global issues aiming to find means to ensure security all over the world for the benefit of all states to overcome the challenges they face.
