
MP Abdulrahman Boumjeed chaired a coordination meeting with a Bahraini-French Friendship Society delegation from the French National Assembly, led by Secretary General of the Friendship Group and Mayor of Altkirch MP Jean Luc.
The two sides discussed ways of strengthening parliamentary cooperation and bolstering trade exchanges, supporting investments. The Bahraini side highlighted the achievements under the reform project which was initiated by His Majesty the King and outlined Bahrain's parliamentary strides.
"Talks focused on promoting Bahrain's regional standing as a financial, trade and investment hub and indispensable partner in the international counter-terrorism coalition"", MP Boumjeed said in a statement to Bahrain News Agency (BNA).
The French delegation expressed its country's support to the reform project, led by His Majesty the King, backing the national efforts to maintain security, stability, combat extremism, violence and terrorism and consolidate joint economic partnership.
