Bahraini foreign minister meets IISS director

Foreign Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa yesterday met International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) director general and executive chief Dr. John Chapman, on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly 66th Session, and stressed outstanding relations bonding the think tank and Bahrain through the annual Manama Dialogue. The IISS keenness to choose Bahrain to host its headquarters in the Middle East was also stressed. The minister lauded the IISS efforts to conduct studies that serve issues of concern to the region. International developments and issues of joint concern were also discussed.
