Tayyeb leaves Bahrain for Switzerland

Grand Imam of Azhar Sheikh Ahmed Tayyeb left Manama on Thursday heading for Switzerland.
During the two-day official visit, Tayyeb, the chairman of the Muslim Council of Elders (MCE), met with Bahraini King Hamad ben Isa al Khalifa.
Tayyeb also chaired the MCE periodical meeting in Manama.
While in Switzerland, Sheikh Tayyeb will meet with several executive officials.
He will also chair the third round of the East-West elders dialogue.
The event is organized in tandem with the World Council of Churches.
