Lebanese Chamber of Deputies on Monday elected General Michel Aoun

Lebanese Chamber of Deputies on Monday elected General Michel Aoun as president of Lebanon to end a presidential vacuum that lasted for more than two years.
Speaker of the Lebanese Chamber of Deputies Nabih Berri announced the results as Aoun secured a win with the necessary majority votes
