Foreign Minister Khemaies Jhinaoui on Wednesday reviewed with President Beji Caid Essebsi the activities of the 146th ordinary session of the Arab League Council.

The two sides also tackled proposed initiatives to resolve Arab issues, especially endeavors meant to push forward political settlement for the Libyan crisis.

The Tunisian president got acquainted with the program of his official participation in the 71st Session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA 71), slated for Monday in New York.

Also, Essebsi was briefed on one-on-one meetings he will hold with world leaders and heads of international financial corporations on the fringe of the UN summit.
