Ramadan season witnesses a new phenomenon, as there is some competition between the stars, not only in the series that will be presented in Ramadan, but in the professions they will play in their roles.
 
The most prominent professions are the roles of police officer, housemaid and flight attendant. Arabs Today monitors the most prominent artists who will present these roles.

Actress Yousra will play the role of servant in the series "Under the command of Your Excellency" scheduled to be presented during the coming Ramadan. She play a role of a woman working in the house of a great figure in the state.
 
Lebanese singer Haifa Wahbe will play the role of "Asaliya" in the new Arabic series "Herbaya". The series' events revolve around the servant "Asaliya", and her family who exploits her to save money and trade narcotics. The series is starring of Monzer Rihanna, Dina, Rahab Al Jamal, Sabri Abdel Moneim, Ahmed Fouad Selim, Ahmed Siam, written by Akram Mustafa, directed by Mariam Ahmadi.

On the other hand, Ghada Abdel Razek and Fareal Yousef will play the role of flight attendant in "Surface to air" series.  The series' events revolve around the hijacking of an Egyptian aircraft with 200 passengers at gunpoint. The international security services intervene and begin negotiations with the hijacker to protect the passengers' safety. The series is starring of Hayatam Shaker, Abdel Aziz Makhion, Abdel Rahman Abu Zahra, Mohamed Karim, Ahmed Abdelourat, Maha Abu Auf, Amr Saleh, Youssef Osman, Nadia Khairy, Mourad Makram and directed by Mohamed Gomaa.

Meanwhile, actor Khalid al-Nabawi will play the role of police officer in "Wahet Al-Ghoruob" series. He is being punished by the security services through sending him to Siwa oasis as a punishment for him, after the authorities complained of his sympathy for the revolutionary ideas of Gamal al-Din al-Afghani and leader Ahmed Orabi.
 
Actor Mohamed Farrag will play the role of officer in "The Black Horse" series, in which he is chasing the hero of the work, actor Ahmed Sakka. The series is starring of Ahmed El Sakka, Shery Adel, Yasmine Sabri, Sabri Fawaz, Mohamed Farag, Ahmed Badir, Ashraf Zaki, Engy Khattab, Mohamed Adel, Ahmed Al Awadhi, Heba Abdel Ghani, Mahmoud Hegazy, Sana Shafea, Mohamed Ali Rizk and Mirna Nour El Din.

Egyptian singer Mohamed Fouad will play the role officer living in Dahir area, who helps everyone around him but will be exposed to many difficult situations, including falling in love with a Jewish girl. The series is starring of Hassan Yousef, Raghda, Madeline Tabar, directed by Yasser Zayed.

Egyptian actor Ahmed Zaher will play the role of officer in the new drama show "Elhalah Gem". The series is starring of Houria Farghali, Tarek Abdel Aziz, Mohamed Mahran, Ashraf Zaki, Ahlam El Gritli, Taraa Jbeil, Rania Shaheen, Yasser Ali Maher, Ahmed Galal Abdelkawi, Amr Saleh, Mostafa Abbass, Mustafa Youssef, Dina Wachahy and directed by Hussein Shawkat.

Sharif Mounir will present the role of an officer in the General Intelligence in "Al-Zibq" series. He is recruiting Karim Abdul Aziz to carry out an intelligence operation, but at the family level suffers from many problems. The series is starring of Karim Abdel Aziz, Riham Abdel Ghafour, Talaat Zakaria, Carmen Labbas, Fadi Ibrahim, Mohamed Shahin, Edward, Sahar Sayegh, Hadi El-Jayyar, Nahla Salama, Tamim Abdu, Rami Waheed, Wizo, Elham Abdalbadi'a, Sami Maghouri, Salwa Osman, Abdel Rahim Hassan, Mahmoud Ghareeb, Mohamed Hosni, Diaa El Margany and directed by Wael Abdullah.
