In Deir Ezzor, activists said that a woman from the Hrabash district died of undernourishment, where government-controlled neighborhoods live under siege by IS. There were conflicting reports that the regime forces announced that the International Coalition planes had targeted an arms depot belonging to IS in Hatla village, containing chemicals that killed hundreds of people, including civilians.

In al-Raqqa, the Syrian Democratic Forces managed to control the villages of al-Zahira, Baas, al-Kalata, and Al Abbara, north of Raqqa, after heavy fighting against militant groups.
