Clashes took place after mid-night of Wednesday – Thursday, between the Syria Democratic Forces on one hand, and the Islamic and rebel factions operating within the forces of “The Euphrates Shield” Operation on the other, in the area of Ablah in the northern countryside of Aleppo, without information about casualties.

However, the security establishment in the city of Jarabulus declared that “it is absolutely forbidden to put on any masks for anyone or any military faction under the security and legal accountability”, the regime forces also shelled areas in the west of Aleppo, without information about casualties.

The regime forces shelled areas in the agricultural lands in the north of Kafr Zita Town in the northern countryside of Hama, after midnight of Wednesday – Thursday, and no information about casualties was reported yet.

The Eastern Ghouta is witnessing escalated shelling by the regime forces, on areas in the east of Damascus and the Eastern Ghouta, since midnight of yesterday till now, where the regime forces shelled by more missiles believed to be land-to-land, areas in Jobar and in the outskirts of Ein Tarma town.

The self-proclaimed Islamic State has executed, yesterday, one of its elite Legislators in the city of Mayadin, east of Deir Ezzor. Local sources told Qasioun News, today, that the Islamic State group executed its prominent Legislator Abu Bakr al-Qahtani, due to a dispute between him and one of leaders, in an attempt to turn on the radical group.

The strongholds of the Islamic State in the city of Albukamal, east of Deir Ezzor, have previously witnessed vague security operations, resulting in the killing of several members of the Islamic State group, and forced the latter to impose a security cordon on the area. It is noteworthy that the Islamic State group lost a wide range of areas in the Syrian Badiyah and the countryside of Raqqa.

Syrian regime forces and allied militias managed, on Tuesday, to capture areas on the Syrian-Jordanian borders, in the eastern countryside of As Suwayda. Qasioun News reported, on Wednesday, that Syrian regime forces and allied militias managed to capture strategic areas near the borders with Jordan, after the withdrawal of the Syrian rebels from their locations in the eastern countryside of As Suwayda.

According to sources belong to the Syrian regime, the recaptured areas exceed 100 square kilometers; thus, government forces are only 10 kilometers away from the Syrian-Jordanian borders. Recently, Syrian regime forces and allied foreign militias managed to recapture a wide range of the Syrian Badiyah and eastern countryside of As Suwayda. It is noteworthy that the Syrian army launched an extensive offensive in the Badiyah area, in order to reach the borders of both Iraq and Jordan.
