President  of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir  and the Turkish President, Recep Tayyib Erdogan  underscored  firmness and strategy of relations between Sudan and Turkey  and their aspiration  to establish a genuine strategic partnership.

The Presidents  expressed  during  meeting on the sideline  of inauguration of the first phase  of  new Istanbul International Airport full satisfaction over  efforts  exerted to implement agreements and projects agreed upon , especially  the  Strategic Cooperation Program signed in Khartoum in 2017.

President Al-Bashir appreciated  President Erdogan’s invitation to attend  inauguration of the first phase of  the   new Istanbul international airport, the largest  in the world.

He said  that the huge edifice  was  extension  of Turkey authenticity  and stands as evidence  for progress and prosperity  made  by Turkey in all fields.

 President Al-Bashir  stated that  Sudan, which enjoys tremendous resources  is qualified to be  a gate  for Turkey into Africa.

The President Al-Bashir  congratulated  President and people of Turkey on annual anniversary of founding  the Republic of Turkey.
