Yemeni president Abdrabu Mansur Hadi met today with UN Special Envoy for Yemen Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed.
President Hadi reiterated the state's efforts to realize lasting peace in Yemen, saying this will be channeled through resumption of the political process to implement national benefits and dialogue outcomes to build a secure and stable homeland based on justice, equality, good governance .
The UN Special Envoy for Yemen expressed optimism over the ongoing steps to end war and achieve peace based on international legitimacy resolutions.
