Mohammed bin Rashid meets Chief of Staff of Algerian Army

Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum received on Monday Ahmed Gaid Salah, Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army of Algeria and Vice-Minister of Defence, who is leading a high-profile military delegation.
H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai also attended the meeting.
The meetings took place on the sidelines of the 13th edition of the International Defence Exhibition and Conference, which commenced in Abu Dhabi on Sunday.
Sheikh Mohammed and the Algerian delegation discussed avenues of cooperation and coordination in military and defence fields between the UAE and Algeria. They also tackled the latest regional developments and issues of mutual concern.
The meeting was attended by H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman of Emirates Group, Lieutenant-General Mohammed Abdul Rahim Al Ali, Assistant Under Secretary at the Ministry of Defence, Khalifa Saeed Suleiman, Director- General of the Department of Protocol and Hospitality in Dubai, Ambassador of Algeria to UAE Salah Attiya, along with a number of senior officers.
