HH the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani met at his residence at the Dead Sea on Wednesday with HE Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations, Affairs and Cooperation, and Special Representative of HM Sultan Qaboos bin Said of Oman Sayyid Asaad bin Tariq bin Taimur Al Said, on the sidelines of the 28th Ordinary Session of the Council of the League of Arab States at the Summit Level.
At the outset of the meeting, HE Sayyid Asaad bin Tariq Al Said conveyed the greetings of HM Sultan Qaboos bin Said of Oman to HH the Emir of Qatar and his wishes of further health and happiness, and to the people of Qatar further progress and prosperity.
HH the Emir entrusted the Omani Deputy Prime Minister to convey his greetings to HM Sultan Qaboos bin Said and his wishes of good health and happiness, and more progress and prosperity to the Omani people.
Talks during the meeting also covered the fraternal relations between the two countries and means of developing them, in addition to a number of issues of common concern.
