Arab League chief receives UN top post candidate
Arab League Secretary General Ahmed Aboul Gheit

Arab League Secretary General Ahmed Aboul Gheit received Thursday Montenegro's candidate for the UN Secretary General post Igor Luksic.
During the meeting, Luksic reviewed the contacts he made as part of his election campaigns, especially with the state members at the UNSC, said spokesman for the AL's chief Mahmoud Afifi.
Aboul Gheif also got acquainted with Luksic's viewpoints toward the Arab causes, including the Palestinian cause along with the ongoing crises in the region, added the spokesman.
