Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received on Tuesday Secretary General of Arab League Ahmed Aboul Gheit and his accompanying delegation.

AL chief arrived here Monday on a two-day visit to the kingdom. 

The Secretary General offered condolences to the King on the death of Prince Turki bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

King Salman talked about the importance of the role played by the Arab League and its efforts in the defense of issues of concern to the Arab world.

The meeting was attended by Crown Prince, First Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Interior Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz.
