AL chief meets secretary-general of Council of Arab Interior Ministers

Arab League Secretary General Ahmed Abul Gheit met Monday with Mohammed Ali bin Koman, Secretary-General of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers.
The meeting took up the council's plan of action, particularly in terms of fighting terrorism, organized crime and human trafficking, spokesman for the AL chief Mahmoud Afifi said.
Koman invited Abul Gheit to attend a ministerial meeting slated for March 2017 in Tunisia, Afifi added.
Abul Gheit said the AL supports the council's plan of action especially in light of growing security threats in the Arab world.
