Abul Gheit to meet Omani minister

Arab League Secretary General Ahmed Abul Gheit - who is due to start a visit to Oman later Tuesday - will hold talks with Omani Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdallah and a number of top Omani officials.
In a statement on Tuesday, the AL said the visit falls within the framework of exchanging points of views on the Arab conditions to enhance joint Arab action, especially at economic, social and cultural levels.
Abul Gheit will also post Omani officials on the efforts being exerted by the AL to settle Arab crises.
