
Registration process for the Electronic Ports' Project (E-Gate) for citizens of the U.A.E. and the GCC, in addition to residents and individuals who have an entry visa, began yesterday at Galleria Shopping Centre in Abu Dhabi (Galleria Mall), and will continue until next Thursday. The first day of the registration process for the Electronic Ports' project saw 505 people avail the service. Registration begins at 10:00 am and concludes at 10:00 pm. Major Mohammad Al Zaabi, Director of the E-Port Project, said that those wishing to register should come in person and bring their passports. He also added that the registration process is free of charge and takes less than 20 seconds only, and stressed that the ministry has allocated counters for women and for individuals with special needs. He also assured that the project simplifies travel procedures through the country's ports and streamlines travellers' entry and exit.
