
The three day Arabian Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing technologies Exhibition (MEP) 2014 will be 66 per cent larger than the previous show, Sijo Joseph, Managing Director of Exposure Media, event organiser, said The 2014 event, which will run from March 17 to 19, will occupy 10,000 square feet, he told the Bahrain News Agency. "The enhanced floor space will also mean more companies. The 2013 event saw 93 companies participating. "This time it will be 110 companies, of which over 35 companies will be international and looking for business in Bahrain. This points to a rising optimism in the country's economic map," he said. Without divulging much information because confirmation was still vocal, he said the expo was also expected to witness some breakthrough technologies. The key focus will be on green technology and emerging technologies, he added.
