Samsung's OLED TV wins acclaim at electronics show in U.S.

Samsung Electronics Co., South Korea's tech behemoth, said Friday that its 55-inch super organic light-emitting diodes (OLED) TV has been acclaimed at a consumer electronics show in the U.S. An array of consumer electronics products from the global makers have been on display at this week's Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, which runs through Friday. Samsung Electronics, the world's largest maker of TVs, said that its super OLED smart TV has been named the "Best of CES Innovations" in the field of videos and displays by the Consumer Electronics Association due to its capability to show off vivid-colors and its high resolution. Samsung and its rivals, meanwhile, are all making concerted efforts to unveil smart TVs to meet growing consumers' demand for Internet-connected TVs with a wide range of features.
