Head of Iran's Information Technology and Communications Organization Ali Hakim Javadi on Wednesday urged United Nations and its communication Group (UNCG) to condemn organized cyber attacks. Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of today's cabinet session, he said creating high-cost viruses such as Stuxnet and Flame has indicated that they were not made by a single individual. Hakim-Javadi said he called on international bodies, the UNCG in particular, during a recent visit to Geneva, Switzerland, to react against such organized moves. He was quoted as saying by (IRNA) news agency that the Iranian experts have successfully managed to reach a domestic knowledge to identify and confront those attacks. However, the official urged all related bodies to maximize their cooperation with the Information Technology and Communications Organization to help confront any further cyber attacks in future.
