
Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education Nayef Al-Hajraf arrived in Paris Monday to participate in the 37th session of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), scheduled to start tomorrow. Upon arrival, Al-Hajraf was received by Kuwait Ambassador to France Ali Al-Saeed, Kuwait Permanent Representative to UNESCO Ambassador Dr. Ali Al-Tarrah, and embassy staff. The minister is accompanied by private universities secretary general Dr. Habib Abul, and Kuwait's Secretary General of UNESCO Committee member Abdullatif Al-Buaijan. The conference, held every two years, will witness the participation of UNESCO member states, observers, non-member countries, as well as representatives of international and governmental institutes in addition to Non-Government Organizations (NGOs). The General Conference aims at shaping UNESCO's future policies and also focuses on enhancing relations between organization members. It also will aims at developing relations between UNESCO and other international entities
