ASRT to hold Sunday workshop on modern approaches of reserach in Egypt, Belarus

The Academy of Scientific Research and Technology (ASRT) will organize on Sunday an Egyptian-Russian workshop on the modern approaches of research and innovation in Egypt and Belarus.

The two-day workshop will be held under the auspices of Higher Education and Scientific Research Minister Ashraf el Sheihy, the ASRT chief Mahmoud Sakr, Belarus Ambassador to Egypt Sergei Rachkov and Deputy Director at National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (NASB) Sergei Chizhik.

The workshop will be held within the framework of a scientific cooperation agreement between the ASRT and the NASB, Sakr said.

On the sidelines of the workshop, a memorandum of understanding will be signed between the two sides in preparation of agreeing on the details of the executive program of cooperation, he added.

The workshop will also discuss ways of cooperation between Egypt and Belarus, he went on to say.
