New children's channel in Germany

German media company Your Family Entertainment will launch a new children's and family channel next year: RIC TV will be distributed as a digital free-to-air service on Astra (19.2° East). A programme trailer, which was sent on air shortly before Christmas on the Luxembourg-based satellite system, announces the new channel and allows a first glimpse at the series and cartoons which will be shown. On YouTube at http://www.youtube.com/RICTVChannel RIC TV also gives details on its programmes which target viewers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The website will be located at http://www.rictv.de. Your Family Entertainment already operates pay-TV channel yourfamily which is distributed in German-speaking Europe and recently expanded to Eastern Europe.
