Riyadh - SPA

Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas.

Okaz newspaper in its editorial entitled ''Between two visions, enlightened and dark'' wrote that that there are two visions in the Middle East; an enlightened Saudi vision, and a dark Iranian one, according to Minister of Foreign Affairs Adel Al-Jubeir on Saturday, pointing out that Iran has brought disasters to the region and the world; while the Kingdom has been playing a constructive role in stabilizing the region, achieving peace and seeking prosperity and progress for its peoples.

The paper noted that those familiar with the Middle East recognize that the Saudi enlightenment project has been on the rise since the announcement of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.

Al-Riyadh newspaper wrote in its editorial on Iran, saying that Iran has been the biggest country making troubles in the world and spreading its darkness to other countries as it has always boasted its existence in four Arab capitals, and interference in the Palestinian cause and the Syrian crisis which has only brought more obstacles and complications in the region.
