London - Arab Today

The Financial Times made its annual predictions on Friday on several global political and economic issues. 

In England, it predicted the pressure on the prime minister Theresa May to get on with leaving the EU is reaching breaking point. 

In France, it predicted that Marine Le Pen will not win the presidency. 

In Germany, Angela Merkel will win the autumn parliamentary elections, but with fewer seats for her Christian Democrat/Christian Social party.

In Iran, the nuclear deal will not collapse, as Donald Trump has threatened to pull the U.S. out of the deal, but even if the U.S. withdraws, the nuclear accord, signed by Iran and six world powers and enshrined in a UN Security Council resolution, will stand. 

US-Russia accord on Syria, Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin will strike a deal within the new US president’s first 100 days to launch a joint offensive against Daesh terrorist group. 

North Korea - Following two nuclear bomb and more than 20 ballistic missile tests, the country will not be able to test a nuclear-capable missile in the near future.
