Israeli forces opened fire at Palestinian farmers and houses in eastern Khan Younis on Thursday but no casualties were reported, local sources said.
The forces stationed in military outposts east of Khan Yunis opened machine gun fire at Palestinian houses and farmers in border areas under an intensive flying of drones.
On Wednesday, a Palestinian resistance man was killed and an Israeli soldier wounded in clashes, the most serious ones since reaching an Egyptian-brokered cooling off agreement in August.
