
Founder and Chairman of the Friends of Environment Center (FEC), Dr. Saif Ali Al Hajari, said that FEC and Qatar Petroleum Development Co. Ltd (QPDC), Japan, launched in cooperation a new programme entitled "We love the sea" as part of Qatar's interest towards environment and the heritage that Qatari citizens are proud.
During the meeting, Dr. Al Hajari praised the support of QPDC, stressing the importance of governments, private sectors and NGOs of working together in achieving greater results .
He said the parts of the programme will consist of education, awareness and activities with strong message in keeping our environment clean.
Furthermore he said that the programme will continue focusing its activities in the coming years.
On his side, QPDC General Manager, Satoru Nakanishi, shared his keen focus of the theme and his believes in the importance of sustainability, saying that QPDC is very happy to contribute to this cause, wishing the programme a great success.
