Experimental operation of Egypt-Saudi power linkage line in 2017

A power linkage project between Egypt and Saudi Arabia will go into experimental operation in July 2017, member of the Egyptian-Saudi electricity and energy committee Mohamed el Yamany said.
The project will help exchange 3,000 megawatts of electricity between the two countries’ networks, Yamany told Saudi newspaper “Okaz”.
