2182 encroachments on Nile removed

As many as 2,182 encroachments on the Nile were removed in a campaign lunched on January 5, said the ministry of water resources and irrigation.
The campaign was launched by Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab and Water Resources and Irrigation Minister Hossam Moghazy.
Moghazy asserted that harsher penalties will be imposed on trespassers on the river.
