New England gets an overhaul

Established 22 years ago in 1990, Indian Ocean quickly became the go-to shop for premium garden furniture. Now with three London stores, two partner stores and a concession in Selfridges & Co, they are expanding in to a variety of furniture aesthetics, with the “New England” look emerging as one of the most popular. The New England range is based around the Adirondack chair first designed by Thomas Lee in 1903 for his summer house in Westport, New York.
