New face of Lancome

Hanaa Ben Abdesslem Tunisia - Arabstoday Tunisian 22 year old model Hanaa Ben Abdesslem has been chosen as the new face of french cosmetic giant Lancome.She has  landed editorials for French Vogue and walked the runway for Givenchy, Ralph Lauren and Oscar de la Renta.  But the model who describes herself as a Muslim and doesn't drink alcohol or smoke intends to change perceptions of the modelling industry at home and across the conservative Arab world. 'Her universal beauty simply channels the je-ne-sais-quoi that makes the uniqueness, strength and charm of the brand' said a Lancome executive following the annoucement.
