Security officials attend meeting to prepare for volleyball world cup

Chairman of Security Committee of the Volleyball World Cup major General Ismail Al Far said Sunday that the committee will hold a meeting within two days on the preparations of the tournament's inauguration ceremony.
The tournament will be held in Egypt on August 18-25.
Al Far explained that the armed forces and the Ministry of Interior's officials, as well as the head of the company tasked with securing the hall where the games will be held, will attend the meeting.
He also pointed out that the armed forces and the police are responsible for securing the participating teams in the hotels where they will stay.
The armed forces and police will also secure the participating teams during their visit to tourist sites, he added.
